Community
Play Like a Girl is 100% charitable and welcoming of all women. We encourage women from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and professions to become role models and mentors to middle school girls. While we are nonpartisan, we understand our community is not. We expect that our participants will treat each other with respect and dignity regardless of political affiliation, race, age, culture, ability, ethnicity or nationality, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, marital status, religious affiliation, and socioeconomic status.
We support and encourage each other. Please share encouraging articles, words of inspiration, tips, and tricks within this community!
We honor diversity of opinion and value civility. Personal insults or attacks and hate are not allowed and any member who violates this will be removed immediately.
We honor confidentiality. The Play Like a Girl Community is meant to be a safe, open environment for women to explore their leadership potential. What is said here, stays here. Please refrain from sharing other’s experiences with people not in the community.
Be Appropriate: Please consider this space may be used by women of all ages and backgrounds, and keep content to a semi-professional tone. No explicit images or graphic language. Mocking and harassment will not be tolerated.
Candidates must refrain from soliciting financial or other types of support in our community. Our community is meant to be space for women to explore leadership and get to know other women across the country. This is not your personal marketing platform. If you wish to solicit for any services, causes, or products, please contact our Program Manager X at email before posting.
In the event that you feel in danger and that calling out the breach of this contract would put you or someone else in harm’s way, please contact our Program Manager X by email or someone from the team immediately and we will handle it.
We reserve the right to delete any post or remove any member of the community for not following the above community guidelines.
